Niger's coup leaders have closed the airspace over the country.
This is evidenced by data from the Flightradar24 flight tracking website.
Earlier, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) warned that it could use force if President Mohamed Bazoum was not reinstated in office by Sunday, August 7.
It will be recalled that on July 26, a group of soldiers led by Presidential Guard Commander Abdourahamane Tchiani (Omar Tchiani) seized power in Niger and removed the democratically elected President Mohamed Bazoum from power.
