NATO shows a lack of political will on Ukraine's membership application — Dmytro Kuleba
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes that NATO has demonstrated a lack of political will regarding Ukraine's application for membership in the Alliance.
He said this in a commentary to Bloomberg.
In his opinion, NATO should not keep the whole situation and Ukraine in limbo when it comes to membership.
Kuleba added that all the conditions were already in place for Ukraine to receive an invitation at the summit in Vilnius. At the same time, Ukraine will continue to cooperate with NATO members on a timeline.
"The shorter it will be (Ukraine's accession to NATO — ed.), the better it will be for everyone," Kuleba said.
It will be recalled that on July 11, the Allies said that Ukraine would receive an invitation to join NATO when "all Allies agree and the conditions are met."
