Morality police in Afghanistan arrest six people for playing and listening to music

In Afghanistan, the morality police arrested six people in one of the provinces for playing and listening to music.

Afghanistan International reported this.

The defendants were detained during a family gathering, but no further details about the case are available.

Last week, a passerby was killed in a district of Laghman province when the Taliban opened fire on a wedding procession because of the music.

The Taliban believes that music is immoral, has a bad influence on young people, and leads to the destruction of society.
