Monuments to Catherine II and Suvorov demolished in Odesa

"I am grateful to the residents of Odesa who have expressed their position that the Russian imperial heritage has no place in modern, legal, democratic Ukraine," said the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Maksym Marchenko.

The monuments will be transferred to the Odesa Art Museum for temporary storage.
