Moldovan President says Russian special services "want to shake the country"
Maia Sandu noted that the Russians colluded with the Moldovan opposition parties. They use popular discontent amid rising prices and organize protests in the country to destabilize the government in Chișinău.
"We have evidence that a coalition of corrupt groups that have stolen a lot of money in Moldova, Russian special services and pro-Russian parties in Moldova have a common goal — to destabilize the country. They use the difficulties faced by the citizens to their advantage. However, we are determined to defend democracy," the politician explained.
