Minister of Defence Rustem Umierov talks to Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin for the first time

U.S. Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin and newly appointed Defence Minister Rustem Umierov have spoken on the phone for the first time.
This was reported by the US Department of Defence.
The two discussed the needs of the Ukrainian army ahead of the next meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defence at Ramstein Air Base next week.
