MDI: Russian special services start implementing provocation with chemical weapons

In the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region, Russians have started implementing a provocation to disrupt Ukrainian counteroffensive actions.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine.

MDI notes that the provocation will affect the Russian military, and Russia plans to use the traces of chemical weapons on their bodies to accuse Ukraine.

"We emphasise that the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine use only conventional means during the fighting with Russian troops, and the next staging of the Russian special services cannot influence the further course of events at the front," the Ukrainian intelligence emphasised.

As reported on May 26, MDI reported that Russia was preparing an attack on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, after which it would announce a leak of radioactive substances. They plan to blame Ukraine for the attack.
