Latvia bans 35 Russian public figures from entering the country

Among them are Russian rapper Shaman (Yaroslav Dronov) and singer Nadezhda Babkina.

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs reported this.

It will be recalled that in January, Ukraine also imposed several packages of sanctions against Russian media personalities who support Russian aggression.

Latvia has banned a number of individuals against whom Ukraine also imposed sanctions. These include Russian propagandists Ruslan Ostashko, Aleksandr Sosnovsky, and Sergey Stankevich.

Other people subject to Latvian sanctions are actress Polina Agureeva, singer Natalia Kachura, and TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya.
