Journalists identify dozens of Russian servicemen involved in the shelling of the Odesa region

Ukrainian media Toronto Television has identified several dozen Russian military personnel involved in the shelling of the Odesa region in July 2023.

This is stated in the investigation published by the media.

The 15th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade of the Russian Navy is armed with Bastion-P missile systems. They were used to shell the Odesa region in July 2023.

Journalists identified the commander of this unit, Aleksey Shcherbak. His mother's relatives live in the Odesa region, where his unit carried out the attacks.

And Alexander Myamlin is responsible for ensuring that coastal missile systems are brought out for launches and are ready for combat operations.

Thanks to data from the Russian tax services, the media outlet was able to identify other officers and soldiers serving in the brigade.

The journalists passed this information on to Ukrainian state institutions.
