Joe Biden and Donald Trump win the primary in New Hampshire

Concorde, N.H., USA (Svidomi) — Incumbent US President Joe Biden has won the Democratic Party primary in New Hampshire, although he did not campaign there. Former President Donald Trump won the Republican Party's primary, beating former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

Incumbent US President Joe Biden has won the Democratic primary in New Hampshire, and former President Donald Trump has won the Republican primary, AP reports. 

Trump won 54% of the vote in New Hampshire, while his main rival, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, received 44.5% of the vote.

Haley said she would continue to participate in the election campaign.  She promises to improve the campaign's results in her home state of South Carolina, where the Republican Party primaries will be held next month.

Joe Biden also won the Democratic primary in New Hampshire, although he did not campaign there and did not put his name on the ballot. New Hampshire violated the new party rules by holding the primary before South Carolina.

Biden's rival, Dean Phillips, received 20.9% of the vote, and writer Marianne Williamson received 4.3%.
