Russians attacked 11 regions of Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
Ukrainian air defence downed 11 of the 17 Shaheds used by Russia to attack Ukrainian regions on the night of February 8. The drones were eliminated in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Russians shelled about 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region, which borders Russia to the east, with artillery and mortars. Two men were injured in the shelling of Kupiansk and Hlushkivka. Residential buildings, a private farm and a private enterprise warehouse were damaged.

Russian troops carried out 176 strikes on 20 frontline towns and villages in the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied since 2022. There is no information on casualties.
In the de-occupied part of the Kherson region, the Russian army carried out 60 attacks, firing 233 shells from various types of weapons. The Russian military hit residential areas. Three people were injured.
In the Mykolaiv region of the south of Ukraine, Ukrainian air defence destroyed three Russian Shahed 131/136 UAVs. However, there were also hits by Russian drones. Russia fired five times at the border communities of Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Esman and Druzhba in the Sumy region, which borders Russia in the north of Ukraine. Ukrainian border guards recorded 18 explosions.
