In Rostov-on-Don, five Crimean Tatars received a 13-year sentence

According to the court's decision, Servet Gaziyev, Dzhemil Gafarov, Alim Karimov, Seyran Murtazi, and Erfan Osmanov each received 13 years of prison.

The presiding judge Valeriy Opanasenko also restricted the freedom of movement of three convicts for one year, and of Servet Gaziyev and Alim Karimov — for one year and six months

After the court handed down the verdict, Alim Karimov said that "after such verdicts, your country [Russia — ed.] turns into North Korea."

The representation of the President of Ukraine in Crimea condemned this verdict.
