In Lublin, Zelenskyy honoured Polish volunteers helping Ukraine
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has honoured two Polish citizens who are helping Ukraine.
He announced this on his social media pages.
The President honoured Damian Duda, a military medic who travelled to Ukraine with his team. They visited Bakhmut, Soledar and the frontline in the south. Duda set up a foundation that finances the purchase of medicines and created a centre for training combat medics.
Svidomi previously spoke to the paramedic about his motivation to help Ukrainians.
Zelenskyy also honoured journalist Bianka Zalewska, who has reported on Russian aggression against Ukraine since 2014. Thanks to her, children from Ukraine were transported to Poland for treatment.
