In Finland, customs officers confiscate euros from Russian tourists returning to the Russian Federation

The cash is being confiscated due to EU sanctions against Russia.

"The export of the official currency of the EU to Russia is prohibited by the sanctions regulations," says chief customs inspector Jarkko Keskinen.
