Illegally imprisoned by Russians Crimean artist Bogdan Ziza wrote a letter to Ukraine

In the letter, the artist addresses his mother — Ukraine, and apologizes that he was not there during the most difficult period for the country.

"Hello, Mother.

I fall on my knees and apologize that for many years of separation I was silent, did not write to You. Forgive me for not being there for You in the most difficult period of Your life. We haven't communicated for so long, I won't deny it, I began to think that it was forever," Ziza writes in the letter.

On May 16, 2022, the artist poured blue and yellow paints on the building of the occupation "administration" of the temporarily occupied Yevpatoria and threw a bottle of incendiary mixture there. He was convicted under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, but was left in a detention facility, where he remains to this day.
