IAEA experts will conduct inspections at two nuclear facilities in Ukraine in response to the Ukrainian government's request

IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi announced this.
Ukraine called on the Agency to carry out inspections following Russian accusations regarding the production of "dirty bombs" in two locations that are under IAEA guarantees and are regularly visited by Agency inspectors.
Grossi said that currently at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, the share of Russian personnel prevails over Ukrainian employees of the station.
He noted that the Ukrainians were planning to restart reactor power unit № 5, but Russian officials did not agree to the corresponding decision.
