Hungarian Armed Forces train Ukrainian military medics

The Hungarian Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the country's Armed Forces are training Ukrainian military medics.

This was reported by 24.hu, citing a statement from the Hungarian Ministry of Defence.

The ministry notes that Hungarian hospitals provide medical care to wounded Ukrainian soldiers.

"Hungary helps those in trouble and those in need, so we helped wounded Ukrainian soldiers in the hospital, and the Hungarian Armed Forces are also involved in training Ukrainian military doctors for humanitarian purposes," the statement reads.

However, the country's position on providing Ukraine with military weapons has not changed.

"We are on the side of peace and do not support any steps that lead to the escalation of the war, so we do not send weapons and military to Ukraine," they said.
