Humanitarian warehouse of Caritas-Spes destroyed as a result of Russian attack on Lviv

The humanitarian warehouse of the Caritas-Spes organisation was destroyed as a result of the Russian attack on Lviv on September 19.

This was reported by the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Ukraine, Denise Brown.

As of the time of the attack, there were 300 tonnes of relief supplies, which were burnt.

"Humanitarian workers, facilities and assets are protected under international humanitarian law. Direct attacks or indiscriminate attacks are strictly prohibited. International humanitarian law is not an option, it is an obligation and must be upheld," the statement says.
