Headquarters deployed in Ukraine to respond to possible terrorist attack at Zaporizhzhia NPP

Ukraine has deployed emergency headquarters in case of an emergency at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP. Technicians and specialists are preparing for different scenarios - the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
As a reminder, on June 22, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, following a report by the Intelligence and Security Service of Ukraine, said that Russia was considering a scenario of a terrorist attack at the Zaporizhzhia NPP with a radiation release.
Ihor Klymenko reminded citizens of the basic safety rules in the event of an emergency at the plant:
▪️do not go outside;
▪️close the windows and shut off the ventilation in the house;
▪️do not panic;
▪️follow the official announcements of the State Emergency Service, police and local authorities.
In the coming days, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will conduct exercises to deploy sanitary checkpoints and rehearse circumstances that may arise in the event of an emergency at ZNPP.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has called for Russia to be recognised as a terrorist state for preparing a terrorist attack at the Zaporizhzhia NPP and to be held politically, economically and legally responsible for all its crimes and illegal actions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expects a clear assessment of Russia's criminal actions by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
