German arms concern Rheinmetall sets up a joint venture with Ukroboronprom


Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger said this in an interview with the Handelsblatt newspaper.

Papperger said that contracts with Ukraine have already been signed.

The German party will own 51% of the shares of the new company, and Rheinmetall will also take over the company's management.

The cooperation will focus on the maintenance and repair of armoured vehicles in Ukraine. In parallel, preparations are underway for the construction of tanks.
