G7 countries condemned the abduction of ZNPP management by Russia and called to return control over the plant to Ukraine - the G7 statement

The G7 member countries note that they "condemn the repeated abduction by Russia of the management and staff of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant".

"We call on Russia to immediately return full control of ZNPP to its rightful sovereign owner - Ukraine, to withdraw all Russian personnel from the facility and to stop any attempts to recklessly and dangerously transfer ZNPP under Russian control," the statement says.
