G7 Ambassadors Support Restoration of Asset Declaration System

On August 29, G7 ambassadors met with VR Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk to discuss the restoration of the asset declaration system.
This was reported by the G7 Ambassadors Support Group in Kyiv.
The meeting also reaffirmed the importance of strengthening anti-corruption institutions, such as the SAPO (Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office) and NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine), and improving corporate governance of state-owned enterprises.
It will be recalled that on July 27, the Verkhovna Rada supported the first reading of the draft law on the restoration of electronic declaration.
