Four people died as a result of Russian shelling on May 29. Another 31 people were injured

On May 30, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down seven X-101 and X-555 cruise missiles and 32 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs. Air defences operated in the Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kherson, Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions. One of the towns in the Khmelnytskyi region was partially cut off from electricity supply due to the attack. There were no casualties. 

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv, Mala Danylivka, Kurylivka, Ruska Lozova, Kolisnykivka and Bilyi Kolodiaz. Nine people were injured. Private houses, an administrative building and an equestrian club were destroyed.

The police recorded 2,103 attacks in the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine. Russian troops attacked Hirnyk, Kurakhove, Lyman, Siversk, Toretsk, Vodiane Druhe, Druzhba, Nelipivka, and Ostrivske with aerial bombs and artillery. Eight people were injured. Twenty-one civilian objects were damaged, including six residential buildings, a hospital, a church, an educational institution, an express delivery service branch, and an administrative building.

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, Makiivka, where residents remain, Stelmakhivka, Nevske, and Novoliubivka came under Russian attack. Russians attacked the villages with cannon and rocket artillery.

In the Sumy region in the north of Ukraine, bordering Russia, the Russian army fired 19 times at the border areas and settlements. The communities of Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Shalyhyne, Druzhba, Putivl, and Velyka Pysarivka were shelled. In the Krasnopillia community, two people were killed, and five others were injured. In Seredyno-Buda, one person was injured.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russian army shelled four villages in three border communities: Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. The fire was conducted with mortars, cannon artillery and FPV drones. Border guards recorded 32 explosions. There were no casualties. 

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, Russians twice attacked the waters of Ochakiv and the Ochakiv community with artillery. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, which has been partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army attacked Antonivka, Dniprovske, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Bilozerka, Oleksandrivka, Novodmitrivka, Beryslav, Lvove, Mykhailivka, Zmiivka, Kachkarivka, Novovorontsovka, Krasnyi Maiak and Kherson. Four private houses, a garage and private cars were damaged. Six people were injured.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, on May 29, Russians attacked Nikopol and the communities of Marhanets and Myrove. Two people were killed, and two others were injured. A private enterprise, a shop, a library, two private houses, an outbuilding, a fire station, an agricultural enterprise, a power line, and a gas pipeline were damaged. The Chervonohryhorivka community was also attacked. A private house and a power line were damaged by falling drone debris in the Dnipro district.

In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians attacked eight settlements 379 times. There are six reports of residential destruction. There were no casualties.
