Four killed, 29 wounded in Russian shelling of eight regions on May 27

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians attacked Kharkiv. A non-residential building of a private enterprise and the building of an art college and shops are damaged. A woman was killed. 13 people were injured. Five other settlements were also shelled: Borova, Zemlianka, Lyptsi, Martove, and Novoosynove. Residential buildings were damaged. Four people were wounded.

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russians attacked the Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts. 

Civilian objects in the town of Snihurivka came under attack. Three people were killed, and six were injured, including three minors. The Russian army also fired artillery shells at the water area of the Ochakiv community. 

In the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled nine settlements: Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Chasiv Yar, Verkhnokamianske, Kalynivka, Molocharka, Novoselydivka, and Tarasivka. Donetsk region suffered 2,358 attacks over the day. Thirty civilian objects were destroyed, including 17 residential buildings, educational institutions, administrative buildings, businesses, vehicles and critical infrastructure. One person was killed, and three were wounded. 

Nine settlements in the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, which has been partially occupied since 2022, came under Russian shelling: Lvove, Antonivka, Mykhailivka, Novooleksandrivka, Stanislav, Dniprovske, Bilozerka, Komyshany and the city of Kherson. Three private houses were damaged, a school, a mobile phone tower and a water tower were hit. Two people were wounded. 

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district with heavy artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers. Russian shells hit Nikopol, the communities of Marhanets, Myrove and Chervonohryhorivka. A private house, an outbuilding and a car were damaged. One person was injured. 

Russians fired 303 times at the Zaporizhzhia region in the south of Ukraine, which has been partially occupied since 2022. Eight settlements came under fire: Novoandriivtsi, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Malynivka and Verkhnia Tersa. There were six reports of residential buildings being destroyed. There were no casualties.

The Russian army attacked the Sumy region, bordering Russia, 23 times. The following communities came under fire: Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Yunakivka, Khotin, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, Esman, Velyka Pysarivka. On the night of May 28, the Russians fired three times at the border settlements of the communities of Seredyna-Buda, Esman and Velyka Pysarivka.  

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Russia and Belarus, the Russians attacked the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities with mortars, cannon artillery and FPV drones. No damage or casualties were reported.
