Five killed, and 20 wounded by Russian shells in the Donetsk region
On June 27, Russian troops shelled the territory of nine regions of Ukraine with mortars, tanks, artillery, MLRS, UAVs, SAMs, and tactical aircraft. One hundred sixteen settlements and 126 infrastructure facilities were attacked.
In the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russian army struck 2,367 times at 13 settlements: Hirnyky, Kurakhove, Selydove, Siversk, Toretsk, Hrodivka, Druzhba, Zarichne, the village of New York, Pivdenne, Dachne, Karlivka, and Yasenove. Sixty civilian objects were damaged, including 40 residential buildings, administrative buildings, cafes, shops, a bus station, cars, and power lines. Five people were killed and 20 were injured, including two children.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled eight settlements: Kharkiv, Pisky-Radkivski, Glushkivka, Kivsharivka, Kruhliakivka, Kozacha Lopan, Oleksandrivka and the Borivka community. Private houses, a building of an educational institution and a business were damaged. Ten people were injured.
In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, which has been partially occupied since 2022, 28 settlements came under Russian airstrikes: Kizomys, Sadove, Chornobaivka, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Oleksandrivka, Veletenske, Stanislav, Novodmitrivka, Poniativka, Dariivka, Prydniprovske, Inzhenerne, Blahovishchenske, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Lvove, Novovorontsovka, Novooleksandrivka, Shliakhove, Novoberyslav, Osokorivka, Tiahyntsi, Kozatske, Olhivka, Burhunka and Kherson. Seventeen private houses were damaged. One person was killed, and six were injured.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russian army launched a missile attack on industrial infrastructure on the outskirts of Mykolaiv. Two people were injured. A truck driver was injured as a result of falling rocket fragments. There was also an accident in which another driver was injured. Also, shelling from MLRS was recorded in the Halytsynivka community and from artillery in the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.
On the morning of June 27, in the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, the Russians attacked Nikopol with drones. A private house caught fire. Another one was damaged. An outbuilding was damaged. There were no casualties. On June 26, the Russian military also shelled Nikopol and the communities of Marhanets and Pokrovsk 26 times. A 66-year-old man was injured. Private houses, outbuildings and several power and gas lines were damaged.
In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians shelled eight settlements 324 times: Novoandriivka, Varvarivka, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Malynivka, Robotyne, and Huliaipole. There were seven reports of the destruction of residential buildings. Two people were injured.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians fired multiple rocket launchers at Makiivka, Stelmakhivka, Kuzemivka and Nevske.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, on the night of June 28, the Russians fired four times at the communities of Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Shalyhyne, and Seredyna-Buda. On June 27, Russians fired 32 times at the border areas and settlements of the communities of Mykolaivka, Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Seredyna-Buda and Znob-Novgorod. No damage or casualties were reported.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled seven villages in the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities with mortars, cannon artillery and FPV drones. Ninety-eight explosions were recorded. No damage or casualties were reported.
