"Explosions in the city! More details later. Do not leave the shelters!" Russia launches missile attacks on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and Kharkiv, 30 km from the Russian border

Ukraine (Svidomi) — Ukraine's Air Force and Defence Forces destroyed 21 missiles of various types from 41 air targets used by Russians to attack Ukrainian cities on the morning of January 23, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

Russians fired 91 times at the de-occupied part of the Kherson region in the South of Ukraine, firing 446 shells from various types of weapons. The Russians hit residential areas of the settlements. During the day, Russian troops shelled the Semenivka community, Chernihiv region, which borders Belarus and Russia. Border guards recorded 38 explosions.

The Russians launched 147 strikes on the unoccupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. Artillery and aviation shelling hit 25 towns and villages. There were no casualties.
