European Parliament adopts resolution calling on the EU to "seriously consider" supplying Ukraine with fighter jets
The European Parliament has adopted a resolution calling on the EU to "seriously consider" supplying Ukraine with fighter jets, helicopters, appropriate missile systems and substantial increases in munitions delivery — the website of the European Parliament.
Four hundred forty-four deputies supported the resolution, 26 were against it, and 37 abstained.
The resolution states that MEPs reaffirm their support for continuing to provide military assistance as long as necessary.
"Ukraine must not only exercise its legitimate right to defence but also be able to regain control of its internationally recognised territory," the statement reads.
