Eight people died as a result of shelling over the past day. Another 56 were wounded

On June 24, Russians shelled eight regions of Ukraine.

The Russian army attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. There were no casualties. In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Liubotyn, Vilshanka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Staryi Saltiv, Novoplatonivka and Odnorobivka came under attack. Residential and apartment buildings, outbuildings, a school and other civilian infrastructure were damaged. There were no casualties. The shelling of Odnorobivka damaged the power grid. Four settlements were left without electricity. 

Around 10:00 on June 25, Russians attacked a residential area in one of Kharkiv's largest districts with an air bomb. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties. Apartment blocks were damaged.

In the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, law enforcement officers recorded 2,166 Russian strikes on the territory of the region. Druzhkivka, Zalizne, Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Velyka Novosilka, and the villages of New York, Dalne, Mykolaivka, and Mykhailivka came under attack. A total of 88 civilian objects were destroyed, including 57 residential buildings, administrative buildings, a shop, businesses and cars.

In total, seven people were killed, and 49 others were injured in the region over the last day. Five people were killed and 38 wounded in Pokrovsk as a result of an Iskander-M missile attack, including four children — a 12-year-old boy and three girls aged 9, 11 and 13. Two more people were killed, and two were injured in Kurakhove and Toretsk. 

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russian army carried out 40 attacks over the last day. The communities of Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novgorod were shelled. The military recorded 148 attacks. There were no casualties. 

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russian army fired on the communities of Semenivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi and Horodnia. Four villages came under fire. In total, border guards recorded 25 explosions.

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russians attacked the Kutsurub community. A dry grass fire broke out in an open area outside the community's settlement. There were no casualties. The water area of the Ochakiv community was also under attack. 

In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, which has been partially occupied since 2022, the Russians struck Antonivka, Novokairy, Tomyna Balka, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Mykhailivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Havrylivka, Novoberyslav, and Novooleksandrivka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Olhivka, Mykilske, Kizomys, Komyshany, Lvove, Tiahyntsi, Dudchany, Odradokamianka, Zarichne, Veletenske, Zymivnyk, Prydniprovske, Vysoke and Kherson. Twenty private houses were damaged. There were hits to critical infrastructure facilities, an administrative building, and a sewage treatment plant. One person was killed, and three others were injured.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, the Russians attacked Nikopol and the communities of Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske and Marhanets. Four people were injured. Private houses, outbuildings, power lines and cars were damaged

In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians struck eight settlements with 457 missiles. There have been nine reports of residential destruction. There were no casualties.
