Drone attacks Russian oil refinery in Yaroslavl

Yaroslavl, Russia (Svidomi) — On the morning of January 29, an aircraft-type drone attacked an oil refinery in the Russian city of Yaroslavl, 700 kilometres from the Ukrainian border.

The governor of the Yaroslavl region claims that Russia's electronic warfare system prevented the drone attack on the refinery.

According to the governor, there was no damage or casualties. Russian Telegram channels report that the incident took place at 6.39 a.m. A small fire was extinguished by company employees. The wreckage of the drone was scattered across the company's premises.

This is the first time since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine that a drone has attacked a facility in the Yaroslavl region.
