DPRK announces test of an underwater drone capable of carrying a nuclear warhead

North Korean propaganda has announced the test of an underwater drone capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.

The North Korean KCNA news agency published such a message.

Propagandists write that this weapon can allegedly create "super-scale radioactive tsunamis" that could destroy large ports and ships.

During the test, the new drone stayed underwater at a depth of 80 to 150 metres for more than 59 hours and detonated a non-nuclear charge in the waters off the east coast.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was present during the test.
