Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called the decision of the IOC to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in the 2024 Olympics in a "neutral status" shameful and called on partners to condemn it.
He wrote about this on his page in X.
"The IOC essentially gave Russia the green light to weaponise the Olympics. Because the Kremlin will use every Russian and Belarusian athlete as a weapon in its propaganda warfare," Kuleba wrote.
