Croatia offers its railway network and ports in the Adriatic Sea to transport Ukrainian grain
Croatia has offered its railway network and ports in the Adriatic Sea to transport Ukrainian grain after Russia refused to continue the grain deal.
State Secretary of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Frano Matušić, said this during a meeting of the UN General Assembly, Ukrinform reports.
Matušić suggested the country's ports as one of the possible routes for exporting Ukrainian grain.
"Croatian railways and ports in the Adriatic Sea are one of the possible alternative routes," he said.
Frano Matušić added that Russia's decision not to extend the agreement provokes the threat of famine in many parts of the world.
