Ukrhydroenergo CEO Ihor Syrota says that water is not being supplied to Crimea because the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir is already much lower than the level needed to flow through the Crimean Canal.
"Most likely, water will not be supplied to Crimea for at least a year. With de-occupation, we will not be able to supply the peninsula with water for the first time either," said Syrota.
He added that Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions will suffer from water shortages.
