China presents a draft of its "peace plan" regarding Russia's war against Ukraine

The People's Republic of China presented its position on the "settlement of the Ukraine crisis."

This is stated on the website of the country's government.

The plan consists of 12 points:

▪️respecting the sovereignty of all countries;

▪️abandoning the "Cold War mentality";

▪️ceasing hostilities;

▪️resuming peace talks;

▪️resolving the humanitarian crisis;

▪️ protecting civilians and prisoners of war;

▪️ keeping nuclear power plants safe;

▪️ reducing strategic risks;

▪️ facilitating grain export;

▪️ stopping "unilateral sanctions";

▪️keeping industrial and supply chains stable;

▪️ promoting "post-conflict" reconstruction.

"All parties should support Russia and Ukraine in working in the same directions and resuming direct dialogue as quickly as possible, so as to gradually deescalate the situation and ultimately reach a comprehensive ceasefire," the document says.

In addition, the Chinese government calls to promote the equal and uniform application of international law, while "double standards must be rejected."
