China assures that it will not provide Russia with lethal weapons
China's leadership has assured US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that it will not provide Russia with lethal weapons.
CNN reported this, citing Antony Blinken.
At the same time, the US is concerned that Chinese companies may provide Russia with technologies that Russia could use to advance its military aggression against Ukraine.
The US Secretary of State also noted that Washington currently has no confirmation of massive arms supplies to Russia from China.
The US also hopes China will take a "productive stance" on the grain deal and support it.
Antony Blinken made a statement on the Taiwan issue. According to the Secretary of State, the US will not recognise the island's independence but will help it defend itself in case of escalation.
In addition, the United States insists that China can influence North Korea to stop testing weapons and provoking countries and instead start negotiations.
It will be recalled that the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping.
Antony Blinken became the first US Secretary of State to travel to China in five years.
