Bulgaria to ban Russian ships from accessing its ports

Bulgaria will prohibit access to its sea and river ports for vessels with a certificate from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping — Executive Agency “Maritime Administration”.
The ban will take effect from 8 April.
"The ban is imposed based on Article 3da paragraph 1a of Council Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 of 31 July 2014 concerning restrictive measures in connection with Russia's actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine," the report says.
