Bulgaria refused to negotiate new contracts with Gazprom

"The Bulgarian government has no intention of negotiating a new short-term, medium-term, or long-term contract with Gazprom," Deputy Prime Minister for economic policies Hristo Alexiev said.

Bulgaria has also confirmed its interest in participating in mechanisms for the joint purchases of energy carriers that can be created within the EU Energy Platform.
