Belgium opposed the ban on issuing tourist visas to citizens of the Russian Federation

The country believes that visa restrictions should apply only to those who support Putin's regime or want to avoid sanctions.

"Citizens of Russia are still supposed to be able to leave the country, express themselves freely and allow us to hear a different voice than the voice of the regime," said Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib.
