Balloons with angular reflectors launched by the Russian Federation spotted in Ukrainian airspace

Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat said the air defence system controlled the situation. 

"Probably, these are balloons with angular reflectors," Ihnat adds. 

He particularly notes he does not know whether this is the reason for the airspace closure over Moldova. However, such balloons could potentially fly into the space of neighbouring foreign countries as they change course depending on the strength and direction of the wind.
