At night, air defence systems shot down 30 Shahed-136/131 attack drones

In total, the Russians used 31 attack UAVs. The air defences operated within the Dnipro, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Khmelnytskyi regions.

In addition, Russians attacked eight regions with various types of weapons:

Donetsk region: Russians attacked Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Netailove, Tonenke and Klishchiivka. Six civilian objects were destroyed, including five residential buildings.

Kharkiv region: the Russian army fired artillery and mortar shells at more than 20 localities. There were no casualties.

Sumy region: during the day on December 15, Russians fired 11 times at the border areas. 41 explosions were recorded. At night and on the morning of December 16, Russians carried out 5 mortar attacks.

Chernihiv region: the Russian army launched air and mortar attacks on two border communities.

Mykolaiv region: Russians shelled the town of Ochakiv and the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties.

Kherson region: Russian troops conducted 83 attacks over the day. Residential areas, an administrative building and a hospital were hit. Four people were injured. They also attacked several villages in the region at night. Two people were injured.

Dnipro region: On December 15, the Russians attacked Nikopol. Two children were injured, including a 16-year-old girl. A shop, 14 private houses, 10 outbuildings, several power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged in the town. At night, a Russian drone hit a private enterprise building. A fire broke out and has since been extinguished.

Zaporizhzhia region: the Russian army shelled 19 towns and villages. 107 strikes were recorded. A residential building was damaged as a result of the attack.
