At least 35 people were killed in Russian shelling between April 5 and 12

On April 11, Russians launched a massive attack on Ukraine. The Russians once again targeted critical infrastructure in Kharkiv and its region, as well as in the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Lviv regions. In the Kyiv region, the Trypillia thermal power plant was completely destroyed.

In total, the Russian army used 82 air strikes: missiles of various types and drones.

During the week, the Russians attacked the region's settlements 13,534 times. Eleven people were killed, including a 12-year-old teenager.  Another 30 people were injured. Two hundred seventy-four civilian objects were damaged.

In particular, on April 9, the Russians attacked an apartment building with a KAB-500-guided bomb. A 42-year-old mother and her son were trapped in the rubble. They died. 

During the week, the Russians fired 118 times at Kharkiv and 25 towns and villages in the region. They attacked the region with missiles, unguided aerial bombs, UAVs, MLRS, artillery and mortars. Three hundred thirty-one objects were destroyed or damaged, including 154 private and apartment buildings, three schools, one kindergarten, two higher education institutions, two hospitals, and 169 other objects, including shops, pharmacies, outbuildings, garages, and vehicles. Regional police reported this to Svidomi.

Fifty-seven people got injured, and nine were killed, including a child.

The Russian army fired 231 times at the border areas. A total of 943 explosions were recorded. One person was killed, and six were injured.

On April 11, Russians attacked a thermal power plant in Sumy. There were no casualties. 

During the week, the Russians attacked three border communities (Semenivka, Snovsk and Novhorod-Siverskyi) 299 times. A total of 1459 explosions were recorded in the region. 

During the week, Russians attacked the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities daily with artillery and UAVs. 

On April 11, Russians attacked an industrial enterprise in Mykolaiv. According to preliminary information, the attack was carried out with a ballistic missile. The shelling killed five people. Six others were injured. One of them is a teenage girl. About 20 residential buildings and civilian vehicles were damaged.  

Two people were killed in the Kherson region over the past week as a result of Russian shelling. Another 18 were wounded. At least 56 civilian buildings were damaged. Another infrastructure was also damaged: administrative buildings, churches, pharmacies, shops, etc.

Three people were killed in the Zaporizhzhia region as a result of Russian shelling, and 16 were injured. In total, the Russians shelled 2,624 localities in the region. One hundred twenty civilian objects were damaged. 

On April 5, the Russian army launched a massive missile attack on Zaporizhzhia. As a result, 27 people suffered, including four killed. 

During the week, Russians attacked communities in the Nikopol district and Kryvyi Rih district with artillery and drones. One person was injured. At least 32 private houses were damaged. Other civilian objects, including outbuildings, cars, and power lines, were also damaged.
