Armenia and Azerbaijan recognized each other's territorial integrity

This is stated in a joint statement published on the European Council's website.

Armenia and Azerbaijan confirmed their commitment to the Charter of the United Nations and the Alma Ata 1991 Declaration through which both recognize each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. According to this declaration, the Nagorno-Karabakh region belongs to Azerbaijan.

On October 6, in Prague, the states confirmed that this would become the basis for the work of the border delimitation commissions. Armenia has agreed to facilitate the deployment of a civilian EU mission on the border with Azerbaijan, which will begin in October and last for two months. Azerbaijan has agreed to cooperate with the mission as far as it is concerned. The purpose is to strengthen trust and facilitate the work of border commissions.
