Almost 500 residents of the Kherson region are still in Russian captivity

As of January 2, Russian troops are holding 474 people in the Kherson region. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of abducted persons has reached 1100, of which 638 have been released.

Among those abducted are mayors, village heads, heads of village councils and their deputies, village heads, 21 deputies of regional and local councils, 76 law enforcement officers, four clergymen and others.
