US President Joe Biden was informed of the incident, and the White House saw reports of Prigozhin's alleged death.
Biden told CNN that he was "not surprised" by the situation surrounding Prigozhin's possible death. The US president also believes that Vladimir Putin was involved in the plane crash.
Meanwhile, Rosaviatsiya confirmed that Prigozhin and Utkin were on board the plane that crashed in the Tver region.
