About six thousand Crimean Tatars left the occupied peninsula after partial mobilisation in Russia

In his column for NV, The Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, reports that about six thousand Crimean Tatars were forced to leave the temporarily occupied peninsula due to partial mobilisation in Russia.

A significant number of people left with their families. Those who have left "have very vulnerable documents", as their Ukrainian passports have become expired over the years of occupation, and some have not received a Ukrainian passport.

Therefore, these representatives of the Crimean Tatar people travelled to countries that allowed them to enter with such passports. Kazakhstan turned out to be such a country. Now, a significant number of Crimean Tatars have already issued or still issue documents through Ukraine's diplomatic missions there.
