About 326 thousand Russian militaries are now fighting in Ukraine — Ukraine's Intelligence Directorate

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with The Washington Post.

Budanov also says Russia has only 9% of its long-range Kalibr missiles stock.

The head of the DIU believes that in 2023 Russia will focus on capturing more territory in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. A renewed offensive from Belarus is unlikely and is an attempt to distract and divide Ukraine's troops. But he also said, "we have to do everything to make sure that Crimea returns home by the summer."

Kyrylo Budanov spoke about Ukraine's agents inside Russia: "This has destroyed their illusions of security. Some people plant explosives, and there are drones. Until the territorial integrity of Ukraine is restored, there will be problems inside Russia."

He says that Ukraine supports and cooperates with Russians who disagree with their military and political leadership actions.
