A 19-year-old man killed by Russian shelling in Borova, Kharkiv region, and one more hospitalised with injuries

The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed nine of the 14 cruise missiles and nine of the 11 attack UAVs. Russians attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and aircraft.

The Russians fired from the KABs at Kharkiv, 30 km from the border with Russia. A 35-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman were injured. Residential buildings were damaged. Approximately 15 settlements in the region also came under Russian fire. Residential buildings were damaged. In Borova, one man was killed, and another was hospitalised with injuries.

Russian troops shelled the Volnovakha, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts in the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine. In Krasnohorivka, two people were killed, and one was injured. One more person was injured in Kostiantynka, and three others were wounded in Kurakhove. Residential buildings were damaged.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russians launched 343 attacks on eight settlements. Huliaipole, Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, and Robotyne came under fire from Russian aircraft, UAVs, MLRS, and artillery. A 12-year-old child was wounded in the Polohy district as a result of shelling.

In the Kherson region, which has remained partially occupied in the south of Ukraine since 2022, Russians attacked 15 settlements, including de-occupied Kherson. Russians attacked the Beryslav district with missiles and the Kherson district with drones. High-rise buildings, businesses and an educational institution were damaged. Two people were injured in the region.

The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed a Russian X-59 aircraft missile in the Mykolaiv region of the south of Ukraine. The Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities came under artillery fire. There were hits in the Voznesensk district. There were no casualties.

In the Lviv region, which borders Poland to the west, Russians attacked with cruise missiles the same critical infrastructure facility that was targeted on March 24 and 29. The administrative building was destroyed. One person was reported dead. The rubble is being removed, and people may be trapped under it.

Ukrainian border guards recorded 283 explosions as a result of Russian shelling in the Sumy region, which borders Russia to the north. Russian troops attacked 12 border communities with drones, grenade launchers, artillery, MLRS, UAVs and mortars.

The Russian army attacked the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities in the Chernihiv region, which borders Belarus and Russia to the north. Ukrainian border guards recorded 69 explosions from cannon artillery, grenade launchers and mortars.

Ukrainian air defence destroyed eight attack drones in the Odesa region, where port infrastructure is located in the south of Ukraine. The falling debris caused a fire at a power facility. As a result, 10,000 consumers in Odesa and the Odesa region lost power. Restoration work is ongoing.
