34 rockets fired from Lebanon into Israel

Israel called the attack the "worst" since 2006.

The Israeli militaries say the Iron Dome air defence system intercepted 25 rockets. At least five rockets fell on Israeli territory, and the whereabouts of the remaining four are still unknown.

At least two people were injured in the attack.

On the morning of April 6, rockets were also fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel. There were no reports of casualties.

The rocket attacks occurred due to violent clashes between Israeli police and Palestinians praying at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
