The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine handed a note to the Turkish ambassador regarding the alleged transportation of Russian missiles across the Bosphorus Strait

It is about the alleged transportation of Russian S-300PMU-2 missile systems across the Bosporus Strait, which were carried from Syria by the Sparta II ship.

In accordance with the regulations of the Convention Regarding the Regime of the Straits, this vessel falls within the definition of a warship for the purposes of this Convention.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Ukraine expects the Turkish side to keep its promises to close the Black Sea straits for Russian warships during the war.
