Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary: "Hungary does not object to the transit of weapons to Ukraine through its territory"

Earlier, Hungary announced a ban on the transit of any aid to Ukraine through its territory. This decision was made in the country because they do not want to endanger the Hungarians living in Transcarpathia.

"Hungary itself will not supply its weapons - this is our strategic position. However, third countries can use our territory," said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Levente Magyar.

Hungary is also ready to accept Ukrainian children in sanatoriums and camps and to treat Ukrainians in its medical facilities. In addition, the country is ready to provide 1,000 scholarships for Ukrainian citizens at its universities.
